About Our Staff

Our superb ShowDogVideoPros staff was assembled from widely diverse educational and career paths, including professional videography and photography, website and print media design, sales and marketing expertise, and computer hardware and software engineering.

Common to each and everyone of us is our love of our four-legged friends and the sport of pure-bred dogs!  In each of these bios we will expose our "dog-ties" and our "professional-ties" other than the obvious - to ShowDogVideoPros!

    

IBKMD Principal Irvin B. Krukenkamp, MD ("Irv") has over 35 years of experience in digital photography and videography; the last 20 years devoted exclusively to the show dog and dog show environment.

Irv "went Mac and never went back" in 2003, and is highly skilled in all forms of digital media management, especially on the Mac platform.  He has produced numerous digital video products, including National Specialty Show DVDs, Lecture and Seminar Videos, Streaming Video Resumes, Litter Evaluation Videos and on-line video training courses.  In 2010-2011 he custom coded the On-Demand Streaming Video website for ShowDogVideoPros. 

INTERESTING BACKGROUND:
Irv (or "Dr. K" in the past) is a former cardiothoracic surgeon, past Director of a major Heart Center, and Professor of Surgery, Physiology & Biophysics and Biomedical Engineering.

DOG TIES:
June and Irv are experienced breeders of Dalmatians (25 years) and Bull Terriers (10 years). They have campaigned numerous top winning Dalmatians in the US and abroad, and own/love/cherish the Nation's #1 Colored Bull Terrier (2003).
JuneK Principal June Krukenkamp ("June") has over 15 years of experience in website design and development, electronic publishing and, of course, videography!

June currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of five on-line, Internet electronic magazines (E-Dalmatians, E-BostonTerriers, E-YorkshireTerriers, E-BullTerriers and new E-BoxerDogs). Her main website is at: www.EDogMagazines.com.

INTERESTING BACKGROUND:
June is a professional dog handler with over 25 years of experience handling primarily Dalmatians, but many other breeds too.  She is a laboratory medical technologist, ex-Navy Chief and served a tour of duty in Saudi Arabi - operation Desert Storm.

DOG TIES:

Karen Videographer and Non-Linear Digital Video Editor "Karen" proves to us always that 'the show must go on'!  Pictured at left at the Bulldog Club of America National in 2010, she was just a few days out of the operating room to correct a severely fractured right ankle, and then right back behind that camera!

INTERESTING BACKGROUND:
Karen brings a wealth of marketing experience through her high level positions at the well-known, national retailer, Macy's.  She is a graduate of Montserrat College of Art, with a minor in photography.

DOG TIES:
Karen has been a breeder/owner/handler of Dalmatians for over 30 years. Her current venture involves "boutique puppy day care" where she trains numerous puppies every day.  She is also an avid equestrian.

Joss Videographer and Non-Linear Digital Video Editor "Jossalyn" is a fast to adapt photographer who is equally at home in the field as in a ballroom!  Whether it be the Agility, Rally, or Obedience rings, or Conformation classes, Jossalyn's cat-like reflexes never miss the shot! Once we have that video back at the studio, Jossalyn can rough cut edit an entire 1000 entry show in just a couple days. Wow!

INTERESTING BACKGROUND:
Jossalyn is a veterinary technologist working in the Southern New Hampshire area.

DOG TIES:
Jossalyn is the principal of her own (quite successful) pet sitting business called "Claws and Paws".

Mark

Mark joined our videography and Non-Linear Digital Editing crew in 2011.  His technical photo, video and computer skills are top notch.  No surprise.  In 'other life' Mark is/was a commercial airline pilot for Delta!  Now focused on canine video productions, Mark and Jane Killion (of "When Pigs Fly - Training Success with Impossible Dogs" fame) are filming and producing the ultimate Dog Training Video on DVD series.

INTERESTING BACKGROUND:
Airline pilot, Helicopter Pilot and skilled Tuna fisherman.

DOG TIES:
From Queensland Heelers to Bull Terriers, Mark has been "in dogs" his whole life. Recently he has "adopted" five Bull Terriers, and is working avidly on Agility.  
Larissa Digital Photographer and Non-Linear Digital Video Editor "Larissa" joined our staff within the last year.  A recent graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in visual media, Larissa specializes in graphic design, typography, photo restoration and candid dog photography.

INTERESTING BACKGROUND:
Larissa has served for over 5 years as the official website photographer for USA at the Westminster Kennel Club Show.

DOG TIES:
Founding prinicipal of LClarkPhotoDesign she continues to expand her portfolio of "Dog Biz" through her Pro Dog Show Photographer (and Father) Fritz Clark, and of course with ShowDogVideoPros!
Keri Professional Designer and Creative Director, "Keri" joined our staff in 2009.  She has focused on website and print media designs, branding, and marketing strategies.  Keri completely re-designed our video templates in 2010, adding clear titling (AKC Name, Sire & Dam) and Class placements without blocking the view of the dogs on the video.

INTERESTING BACKGROUND:
Keri is the founding principal and Creative Director of her design firm 'Design-360'. She has a portfolio of many top clients.

DOG TIES:
Keri and her family have enjoyed, cherished and loved several Dalmatians over the years.
