LIVE - ON AIR - STREAMING VIDEO

OK, so what is this all about?  It is really simple!  We take a live feed from our camera that is sitting right up against the ring at your National Specialty Show and we broadcast it to the Internet.

You will watch the show on your computer screen from the comfort of your own home (or office) and see the show exactly as it is happening (there is a 5-10 second transmission delay).  You will actually get a better picture than the spectators at the show, because you will see the zoomed in views that we see with our camera!

LIVE, ON-AIR, Streaming Video is not available for all shows. It takes a dedicated fast Internet service and some investment on the part of the parent club to offer this service.

PLEASE NOTE:  You may be in a different time zone (or even another country) at the time of the broadcast.  Our LIVE streaming video is clocked to local time for judging.  Also, the camera will be OFF whenever the judging is over for the day, again in the local time zone.

FREE WEBCAM

Our Webcam service also sends images to the Internet for you to see, LIVE and in REAL TIME.  However, the difference is that we only send one picture (a jpeg) every 5 - 6 seconds.  So, there is NO movement whatsoever.  It is pretty good, however, to see the dogs on exams, and also to see your friends and the fashions!  Again, you will see picture - picture - picture (not video).

We can offer the Webcam FREE because the bandwidth required is very minimal.  Most hotels have a WiFi hookup that we can use. 

Please note that we cannot run our webcam at outside shows, or at hotels with poor Internet connectivity.

How Do I Sign Up?

It's easy!   Just click one of the links at left in the sidebar! 

FREE WEBCAM:   Click your Breed and that show will open in a window immediately!

STREAMING VIDEO:  Follow these steps.

1. Click on the play button for our SDVP Featured Video at the top of the left sidebar.  If you can view this video, then your computer hardware, software and Internet connection are sufficient to receive our LIVE - ON AIR - Streaming Videos.  If you do NOT see the video, then look over our Troubleshooting page for some suggestions.
   
   
2. Click your Breed (under Streaming Video) and purchase a Video Pass for that show.
   
   
3. Check your e-mail right after purchase.  We will e-mail your logon credentials - username and password - immediately. 
   
   IMPORTANT!  Be sure to check your "spam" e-mail box or your "junk" e-mail box for our e-mail.  Some e-mail servers interpret our automatically generated logon e-mail as junk.
